does this sound like my alternator is going bad

Autozone said that my alternator is going bad because my battery light keeps popping on and my car will start then once the light pop on it if i cut the car off it will not start back without a boost, finally my car wont even crank but everything will come on; the radio, the lights. I got my battery tested and they said that I had a good battery. So my question is, is it my alternator and how much does it cost to get it fixed.

If the alternator isn't charging the battery, it would cause this problem. So could a bad connection, bad battery... Remove the battery and fully charge it. Then have it checked. Also, have the Auto Zone check the alt to see if it is producing. They can do that without taking anything out of the car. Then you will know if it is bad.
