I have just had the engine replaced on my 206 1.4 HDi (same size/capacity) how do i find the new engine number so i can update my V5 Document?

I can find the serial number on to the top part but not the lower block (serial number of the top part is 0889689296 i am guessing this isn't my engine number as my old engine number on started with fd)
