sometimes switches off and then immediately on while driving

My opel corsa 1.4 2003 . The other thing is that the brake switch and its cables are burnt

The car starts properly and while driving it switches off then immediately on and when i stop the rev goes very high until i wait for or a while or i switch the engine of and re-start.Could it be the rpm switch?

I have also noticed that the brake switch and the cables are burnt so when i apply the brakes it dosen't signal the behind traffic.

i would start by looking at the battery cables. make sure they are good and clean. check the connections at the ignition switch as well. it sounds electrical from your description.
