I have a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero.
Is it necessary to do a tune-up where they change spark plugs, etc.? I've done this with previous cars, but not this one. I've never had any trouble, so I'm wondering if it's not required on this make/model. Thanks.

How many miles on the vehicle? Are you doing the tune-up or a shop? How many miles on the spark plugs. Platinum plugs, every 100,000 miles, other, every 60,000 miles. I don't see anything wrong with doing a tune-up, when you replace plugs. A tune-up can mean different things to different shops.
