I own a 2003 Nissan Navara turbo diesel. Lately when driving the engine light begins flashing and the revs become erratic. It seems to happen only when the engine has heated up to running temperature. Have traced it back and it appears to be the turbo becoming hot. Waht could be causing this?
Thank you.

The turbo can get hot as the result of a bad bearing, over use (high rpm's) low oil pressure... What I recommend you do is have the computer scanned for trouble codes. If the light is coming on, there should be a code stored. Many parts stores will scan it for free.
