Oil pan

My engine oil pan in my altima 2003 is rotten for parts and labor the mechanic is charging me 975 does that sound about right?

Seems awfully high but I don't know how much work is involved in getting it off. A lot of Ford cars have the same problem and removing the oil pan is a very frustrating experience. I wouldn't care to do another one for $975.00. Most cars aren't that involved.
