2003 Nissan Altima Dash Lights Want Come On Night Shine Doing Day Turn Off

The dash lights want come on at night. The shine doing the day. If i turn the lights off auto the dash lights shine but the headlights are off? I have a remanufactured radio in it. We have checked the wiring and the fuses. Any help????
