My 2003 altima 2.5 s has been making a rotational rubbing noise near the front right side of the car. The mechanic at my local Nissan dealer says that it is the right front axle bearing which means they have to replace the right front axle assembly. They say that this part costs 750$ if it is a Nissan part. Is this true or are they trying to take me for a ride?

Great Site :-)

Get a second opinion on noise, and dont tell them what the dealer found.
