I have a Nissan Almera Tino (2004/78000miles) and it has started making whining noise from front end, it does it badly in 2nd and 3rd gears but not if revving in neutral, would you have any idea what it may be? It has just had an MOT and needs a track rod end replaced, could this be the problem or is it likely to be something else? Thanks very much in advance

I believe the noise is from the transmission. Get someone to have a look at it.
