i have a 2003 v6 triton(mitsubishi) it starts and idles ok but when u put the foot down it backfires and also when u try to drive it but when u just sit there and accelerate slowly nothing it only does it when u plant the foot and try and drive it
new head gaskets and new leads not new plugs but timing is 8% tdc all correct left hand side plugs are black and right hand side ones look like they are firing HELP

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge if its within specs sounds like its running rich

Check if the injectors are leaking-also what is the fuel pressure reading?

How did you checked the injectors for leakage test?

no sorry didnt check for leaks how do u do that

ive just taken all the spark plugs out and they are all black so it running rich how do i fix that problem in the v6

Check and test your injectors on that bank, then report back with your testing results-

rechecked fuel pressure 55 psi or 400kpa
