replace serpentine belt

2003 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER
85,000 MILES • 4 CYL • AWD • AUTOMATIC

A cat got in my engine to keep warm and when I started my car the belt got knocked off. I am trying to find directions on how to replace it. I am going to buy a new one, but cannot afford to replace the water pump at this time.

I would appreciate any help.
