2003 Mitsubishi Montero clock, compass, etc. display

I bought a used 2003 Montero sr and the display above the radio showing compass, clock, fuel, etc. has never come on. I heard it may be a fuse, yet cannot find the fuse in question. Everything else on the truck works perfect. Just the center display I mentioned. Would appreciate any info you could provide.
