2003 Mitsubishi Magna Driver side window

We have a 2003 Es Mitsubishi magna. Put electric window down and now only goes up 2 inches and back down. It won't go any further. Wondering if this problem is electrical or something else maybe? We thought you maybe able to troubleshoot this for us before we go pulling things to pieces. As we live in a remote area and services aren't readily available.

The pinch feature seems to be malfunctioning due to restriction/resistance to the glass when it is moving up.

Try lubricating the runchannels with silicone or waxed based sprays/lubricants. For a temporary fix, try some water.
