My 03 mitsubishi lancer evolution is showing a check engine light and code reading a misfire. How do I go about fixing this problem?

If the code is for a random misfire, check for vacuum leaks, faulty coil, dirty fuel, start here.

I already did all of that....still popping it. So what else could it be? I was thinking bad plugs.

OK, yes, look at plugs and ignition leads, also a comp test just to be sure will not help, if it is popping in the exhaust, check for a leaking exhaust manifold gasket as well.
