When replacing the driver side cv boot axle when you pull axle out of drive shalf does transmission fluid or gear oil pour out of drive shalf

For manual transmission gear oil would come out as the level is higher than the shaft. For automatic it would not if the level is correct but if you are lifting only the front portion of vehicle up, it would.
