Put in new battery, wont start unless you pull off negative terminal, but on new post, new negative ground, new positive, after that car wont start, what is the sliver plate that the negative attaches to and runs to negative side of battery, it hooked up at auto zone, said starter good, alternator good, battery good, when car starts, it revs up good then almost dies but idles

Neg terminal? As far as the low idle, check for vacuum leaks and check the idle air control valve.

Lets start over again, new battery, worked great for a week, then trouble, you have to remove the negative ground to the battery and reattach, you hear a few clicks after attaching, then it starts, I ran a new ground from engine block to a silver grounding plate and run to negative side of battery, same thing, to start, you have to remove the negative and reattach to start, ive had several journeyman mechanics look at it and are baffled, is it a bad starter relay, bad conection to starter cylenoid, alternator works, what could it be? The new battery?

Try switching the starter relay with one in the relay block with the same part number. See if that makes a difference.
