why does my car have a rough idle?

It almost sounds like it wants to shut off,but wont..I just got a tune up in it and all the hoses that looked worn out or cracked..I dont have the money to take it to a mec.shop..please help me what should I replace next?

i wouls start with a compression test to make sure the motor is good. then i would look for vacuum leaks that would make it run rough.
