2003 Mercury Sable No turn signal

Was driving had turn signals one block turned again and no turn signals I still have hazards and everything else works on the multifunctional switch pulled and put in another relay and put in a new multifunctional switch still now turn signals. When I break and move the stick I get a solid turn signal light what could be the problem I don't have a owners manual to see if there are any other relays or fuses that could be the issue please help

Have you replaced bulbs and maybe used the wrong type? Have you checked to see if the bulb sockets are damaged and shorting?

No we haven't changed the bulbs. They work when the hazards are on

Yes, but I wouldn't think they would come on solid if the fuse was bad. You mentioned that they go solid when the brake is applied. What happens when the brake isn't applied?

There isn't anything when not on the brake

Then, something is feeding power back through the system when you use the brake. To start, closely check the light sockets to make sure they are in good condition.

Something is allowing power from the brake lights to enter the signal circuit. If the sockets are good, I hate to say it, but you need to start checking for grounds to power in the circuit.
