I am having problems with my 03 sable. The lights on the inside of the car wont go off. It indicates on the dashboard that a door is open, when they are all closed tightly. The locks also lock and unlock by themselves all while the car is running. Once the car is parked and the alarm is set after a few minutes it will sound. After turning it off and will sound repeatedly until I am force to disconnect the battery. Any suggestions on what could be the problem?

Sounds like a bad door jamb switch that would make the most sense. If you had a advanced enough scan tool you could read live data and see which door jamb switch it was.

Saturntech9 is right but you may be able to resolve it yourself.

The switches that control the lights for open doors are made right into the door latches and they have a history of sticking and causing problems like that.

Here is a technique that often works well and eliminates the problem at no cost.

Get a can of spray lube like WD40 or something like it and has a straw on the nozzle. Spray it generously up into the latch mechanism. Now open and close the door numerous times to work it in. Repeat this process several times. Since you don't really know which door is causing the problem, you should do all of them. It's usually caused by the most frequently used door but it's not guaranteed to be that one.
