I need to replace the starter on my vehicle but I cant seem to find it

I need to replace the starter on my vehicle but I cant seem to find it. Anyone point me in the right directions? Pictures would be appreciated.

By left side do you mean passenger or driver's side? I'm not sure which way you're looking at the engine. Still having trouble locating the starter on my vehicle.

Welcome back:

When he said left, it is the driver's side. If you open the hood you will see where the transmission and engine bolt together. From the front of the vehicle, it will be on the right. The starter will be at engine oil pan level where the engine and transmission come together. It is much easier to see if from under the vehicle.

Also, make sure you disconnect the battery before working on the starter.
