2003 Mercury Mountaineer ABS Light stays on

The abs light stays on and sometimes when you push on the brakes they shimmy . we took it to the mechanic and they scanned it . But they did not know what the code was for .

Can you post up the codes to try and get an idea as to what is going on? Also when it vibrates, do you notice it more on highway speeds? Or is it more like when your braking and turning? Let us know please especially on the codes.
