The central locking system no longer works via keyless remote.

I just had Mercedes repair the shifter mechanism and all of a sudden the locking system no loger works. Is this a coincidence, if not how do I replace the pump?

Make sure the LED on the remote is working. Change the battery in the remote. Make sure the central locking fuses and relays are in operating condition. Our reference doesn't show the locations of these.

How do I replace the pump that operates the central locking system?

There is no pump. It's electrical. Body control module, relays, wiring, switches, and solenoids at the doors.
