PLEASE WHY DOES THE GEAR NOT SELECT. THE COMPUTER SHOWED ITS NORMAL AND THE EGS51 IS OK BUT STILL THE GEAR DOES NOT SELECT, KINDLY ASSIST PLEASE

May be a mechanical failure with in the transmission, a scan will show any electrical fault, the most mechanical failures will not come up, time to get the transmission checked out first hand by a qualified tech.
