There is a battery sign and message on dash board saying Attend to Battery or Alternator. Also 2 X Malfunctions. Bought and fitted new regulator but still problem persists on screen

be sure the battery is fully charged and have it load tested. once that's proven good then check the charging system. also make sure that the cables are nice and clean and shiny. no green fuzzy stuff inside or out of the cable ring. also check to make sure the belt on the car is tight and the spring tensioner has pull by grabbing the belt with the motor off and pulling on it. it should pull back firmly. this can cause the alternator pulley to not spin fast enough causing poor charging
