sometimes when you accelerate fast on to a major highway it blows out white smoke enough cover four highway lanes

White smoke is a sign of burning engine coolant. That's usually caused by a leaking cylinder head gasket. Your mechanic can verify that by performing a chemical test at the radiator or by adding dye to the coolant, then looking for it later inside the tail pipe.
