I havent' driven my car in over a year. And will there be any latent damage? It's been very cold weather, and I'm going to have it jumped but will it continue to run after the initial jump start?

I'D SAY YOU BEST APPROACH TO THIS WOULD BE TO REMOVE THE BATTERY AND HAVE IT TESTED---MANY POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORES WILL DO THIS FOR FREE (SOMETIMES EVEN CHARGE IT FOR FREE)

I THINK RE-INSTALLING A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY (NEW OR OLD) WOULD BE THE SMART APPROACH

ON SOME COMPUTER CONTROLLED VEHICLES I HAVE SEEN THIS TO BE THE CASE WITH A RUN DOWN/ OR DEAD BATTERY....SEE MY RESPONSE, THE LAST ONE IN THIS POST

CHECK ALL OF YOUR FLUIDS

MAYBE DRIVE AROUND SLOWLY FOR A BIT IN A TRAFFIC FREE AREA, UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THAT YOUR STEERING AND BRAKES ARE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER---EVEN AFTER THAT, CONTINUE TO BE CAUTIOUS.....THINGS CAN HAPPEN OVER TIME!

RETURN WITH GOOD NEWS
