Check the resistor pack. You'll need to remove the glove compartment. It's located behind and down.

Is there a test to determine if the unit is bad? Also, is this part available only at the dealer?

Thanks for your help.

You'll need a voltmeter.

RESISTOR INSPECTION

Remove the glove compartment.
Disconnect the resistor connector.

TERMINAL RESISTOR (OHMS)
G-A 0.17-0.19
G-E 0.51-0.58
G-C 2.35-2.70

I can't upload an illustration on my computer. But when you remove the resistor pack, look directly into the terminal with the tap facing up. The terminals will be as follows, left to right:

G-E-C-A

Place the red test lead into the G terminal and alternate the black lead in e, c, a, recording each reading.

Verify that the resistance between the terminals of the resistor is as indicated in the table.
If not as specified, replace the resistor.
