2003 Mazda 6 check engine light on

Light comes on sometimes. Engine idles rough. Feels like it has a miss in engine sometimes when light is on.

Yep this is common when the engine is misfiring. I would start with a full tune up including ignition coils which go out in these cars. This guide can help

I would service the throttle body as well as part of the tune up. I have included how to do the job on your car in the images below.

recommended spark plugs are typically NGK Iridium IX LTR5IX-11 or Denso Iridium ITV20. These iridium plugs are known for durability, ensure the spark plug gap is set to 0.044 inches (1.1 mm).
