CODE P0768 SHIFT SOL D. WE HAD A NEW REBUILT TRANS PUT IN 18 MONTHS ALGO, NOW THIS CODE IF COMING UP @ 60MPH IT IS 2500 RPM AND WHEN I HIT THE O/D BUTTON IT SHIFTS DOWN AND BACK UP. WHERE IS THIS LOCATED AND CAN A REGULAR TRANS SHOP REPAIR IT.

Computer has dteected a fault in shift solenoid "D" which controls overdrive so the up/down shift problem. Possible causes is wiring, solenoid itself and the ECM. As regular trans shop can't say
