High pitched sound when car is in motion

Whether I step on the gas or the car is in motion, there is an audible high-pitched sound that you can here from underneath the car.Mu initial suspicion is that the driveshaft needs greasing but am not sure and don't know if this can be a do-it-yourself project

it may be the brake pad warning sensor. check each wheel by rotating and see if the noise is there.

Listen real closely to the power steering pump, alternator, and compressor and belt tensioner is it coming from one of these components?
