Seems like not firing on all cylinders???

Hi. have an 03 freelander, which has lost all power. she is shaking prefously, and not picking up any speed, to get her to 40 i have to stamp the gas peddle to the floor. What can possibly be the problem. Please help!!!!

scan the engine for codes and check the fuel pressure. also check for vacuum leaks.
