is there any thing i can try to get un stick the drive line?

my 4x4 is stuck in nutral and will not drive. I have tried to shift it into nutral and move the 4x4 shifter into high. it will not budge. when i shift into park it make a grinding sound. any ideas

Since the shift is stuck and cannot budge, you should be checking the shift cables and linkages.
