Is My Car safe to drive / what could be the problem and possible estimate

While driving my radio and clock went out and then there was a very bad smell coming from the truck I tried my headlights and they were working

Check for a burnt fuse. Check under the dash for any wiring that may have melted. If you can't find anything, you should have the electrical system inspected. See if there are any bad fuses.
