OK so I parked my KIA Rio for 4 months and prior to that it ran perfect no problems. I went to start the car and it made a squealing noise and shut right off and that's all it would do I put gas in as well as checked if the belts were moving and they were but just barely so we just the battery it squealed and did the same thing just shut off. Are my belts to tight or has my car been sitting so long that they got tight ? What could be my problem please help thanks , alex

It sounds like one of the belt driven accessories is locked up. Remove the belts and spin each accessory to see if any are locked.

Let me know what you find.
