Car door won't open

A few months ago my son's girlfriend could not open the passenger door from the inside, but the locks and windows (power) still worked. Now the door won't open from the outside either.

So far they've (son & hubby) replaced the fuse, disconnected the battery, & still nothing.

When you say it won't open, do you mean the lock isn't working or the door won't physically open?

Well originally it was the door won't open, the lock would go up and down. Now they think it's the lock mechanism. You can turn the key to unlock, but not to lock. They are going to take it to a mechanic for repair. Thanks anyways. Take care.
