Whinning sound after using 4WD

I put my '03 Sahara (Manual) in 4WD prior to leaving the garage - we had a good amount of snow fall overnight. I drove it to work and when I exited off the roadway and came to the stop sign - I put it back into 2WD - no when I go over 25+mph there is an odd whinning sound - not too loud, but very noticable. Is the 4WD stuck? How can I make sure, or get the whinning to stop?
Thanks

Nothing locked up - everything ran fine - it just didn't sound like it's normal self. Ride home in 2WD was fine - it seemed.

SOMETIMES I GET A WHINING SOUND IN ONE OF MY 2 JEEPS ('77 CJ 5 AND '46 WILLYS)

IT IS NOT HARD TO IDENTIFY

I HAVE FOUND IT TO BE THE PASSENGER SIDE OPTIONAL AIR BAG (MY WIFE)

WHINING CEASES WHEN IT IS REMOVED. LOL!

HAVE YOU GOT IT FIGURED OUT YET?

DID IT GO AWAY?

ALL IS GOOD?
