2003 Jeep Wrangler Backup Lights Work Checked By Jumping Wires Switch Changed

My backup lights don't work I have checked the lights by jumping the wires at switch and lights work so I changed switch twice and neither one worked what else can I do?

Check fuse number 7 under the right side of the dash and if that is good then the transmission range sensor should be checked. Is this a manual or auto trans?
