2003 Jeep Liberty seat problem

2003 Jeep Liberty automatic seat will not move backwards. Seat went forward and all other directions. Seat was moved all the way forward at a outdoor movie and for first time would not go back.

You need to check wiring to the motor. Check to make sure none of the plugs are loose or corroded. If they are good, you need to have the switch checked. The same motor moves if forward as does reverse. Chances are the switch has gone bad.
