My car will not start, I put the key in the ignition, but it will not turn. The wheel is not locked. Any clue what it is?

TRY A FEW THINGS, BEFORE YOU CALL THE SWITCH "TERMINAL", AND HAVE TO REPLACE IT!

1) ARE YOU USING THE CORRECT KEY? (I'M SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE NEED FOR SUCH A QUESTION!)

2) DO YOU HAVE A SPARE YOU CAN TRY?

3) TURN AND HOLD THE STEERING WHEEL TO ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER, AND TRY IT. (THE WAY YOUR WHEELS ARE TURNED MAY BE BINDING IT)

4) PUSH AND HOLD THE SHIFTER IN DIFFERENT SPOTS, AND TRY IT.

5) IF YOU HAVE "TILT" TRY IT IN ANOTHER POSITION.

6) JUST A LITTLE BITTY SHOT OF WD-40 USING THE "STRAW", INTO THE KEY HOLE.

RETURN WITH GOOD NEWS!

I HOPE THIS HELPS!
