after changing my battri the check engine light cam on , on my 2003 q45. how do i turn off this light?

Have a free scan performed at Autozone to retrieve the trouble code and record it. They can help you erase the trouble code and reset the check engine light. If the light turns on again, something is wrong and you need to rectify that.
