2003 Hyundai Xg350 Car Shifts Erratically Between Gears Begins Jerk Ready

My car shifts erratically. Between gears it begins to jerk and be ready to stall. I let up on the gas and the shift occurs. Car accelerates slowly until time for next shift is approaching, then jerking begins again. When car is stopped, when brake is released car lunges forward as if you had been rear ended. At idle RPM's are about 550.

i would start at looking at the cat converter back pressure. it sounds like the engine cannot breathe
