What is the best way to loosen the hub/spindle nut to access the CV joint

Have been trying to loosen this nut, using WD40, is it safe to use heat? What can we do to get this nut off of the car?

I'll use heat, WD40 and hit it with an impact wrench

I would be very careful with the heat if you are not planning on replacing the hub bearing. A strong impact gun is usually all that is needed.
