2003 Honda Stream Car Filled Diesel Instead Gasoline Despite System Purge Being

Car was filled with diesel instead of gasoline. Despite system purge being done there is still unhappy noises from the engine... car still runs 2 yrs later and the noise still persists. Is it solveable, please?
