2003 Honda Element. Key will not turn in ignition, steering wheel is not locked, tried in neutral, no luck. Will the Recall fix for the ignition fix this problem?

The key was kind of awkward going into the ignition once that day, but went in when I turned the key over. That and the key won't turn in the driver's side door for awhile now. Will try the wd40 and see how that goes. Thanks.
