I have a 2003 honda civic ex 1.7 vtech. I just installed a used long block because the old engine got hot and was not worth the rebuild. Compression on the new "used engine" is great at 175 across. Hooked it all up and it starts but then dies after 5 seconds but if I unplug the cam sensor it runs fine?? Could it be the immobilizer?

I don't think so not sure where the theft light it is located though. I am assuming that it would be located on the dash?? The only light on is the check engine light and that is because of the cam sensor being unplugged.
