My air & heat are not blowing, but when you change the temp. from cold to hot it makes a squeeking noise. Why is that?

The blower fan motor or its control is bad resulting in the air not blowing.
When changing from colfd to heat, the air mix motor has to run to turn the blend doors and the squeaking noise shoudl from there.
