2003 Holden Rodeo car surging

17,000 MILES • 3.5L • 6 CYL • 4WD • MANUAL

drove car for approx: 40kms (with trailer) car started to surge (on and off) for the next 40kms until reached home

None of the engine management system flashed.

Left car overnight, then drove 40kms (as a test run--without trailer) and nothing happened.

I travel approx: 190kms every day with a trailer

id check the fuel and air filters first

we have replaced both and will be trying it out tomorrow (15th Feb 2014) will inform you of what happens

We replaced both fuel and oil filters and touch wood it has been ok for now thanks Ruth
