2003 gmc yukon xl denali. I occasionally get an error code for throttle position sensor and the vehicle runs at reduced engine power. This usually only lasts a short time and only happens about once every 3 or 4 months. I know that this year the throttle position sensor is part of the throttle body. the dealer suggests that you should also change the connector. should i just try changing the connector first before buying a throttle body? I will be doing the work myself. The only reason i am thinking that is it seems to be a short somewhere since it dosent happen consistetly
