2003 Gmc Yukon Would Turn Off Motor Sometimes Fan Heater Off Pull Out Fuse

When I would turn off the motor, sometimes the fan to the heater would not turn off. So I would pull out the fuse, and that would make the fan turn off. The other day when I pulled the fuse out and put it back in, the fan would start running again. Even though I had the let's off every time that I took the fuse out. now I can not get the fan to turn on. Can it be the fan motor be out? The rear heat and a/v still works.

no, the blower resistor is most likely bad. have it checked to confirm
