2003 Gmc Yukon Would Cause Battery Keep Resetting Clock Sometimes Drained Enough

What would cause the battery to keep resetting the clock and sometimes be drained enough to not start? Have replaced alternator (3 weeks ago), but not battery.

check battery for a load test to see if its' good auto parts stores do this for free. then if battery is still good check for a draw which is under how to repair then battery item 9 on site here
